Camp Lakeside Scholarships

Camp Lakeside sometimes receives donations to be used specifically for camper scholarships. These scholarships are limited.

Please call the Camp office at 620-872-2021 if more assistance is needed. We want every child and youth to be able to attend camp and financial assistance should not be a stumbling block to connect with Jesus.

Who is eligable?

Anyone can apply but preference is given to families who qualify for free or reduced school lunch, first-time campers, and families with multiple children attending from the same household.

Scholarships are for overnight camps only and do not apply to Day Camps.

How much can I apply for?

Most scholarships are 25% of the registration cost of a session.

Can I apply for more than 1 session?

No, this fund is one use only.

Can I apply for other forms of scholarships also?

Yes, you can apply for additional aid from your local church.

Local United Methodist Church Scholarships.

The majority of camper’s scholarships come directly from the church in the town the camper is from. Many churches and youth groups do fundraisers throughout the year to help raise a large portion of the funds campers need. Reach out to your nearby church to see if they can help.

Even if you do not attend a United Methodist Church, reach out to the local church you do attend as many of them offer scholarships for children and youth to attend a summer camp.
